Warehouse Technician- Kitchener

We provide Infusion Equipment and Supplies services and Medical Supplies Services to the Hamilton Niagara Haldimond Brant CCAC and the Waterloo Wellington CCAC. Responsibilities

Marchese Health Care is looking for a warehouse technician to join our new Kitchener location. You will become an important member of a skilled team who provide infusion and medical supply services to home-based patients in the Waterloo-Wellington area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Reviewing picking documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness and picking supply orders in priority sequence

· Respond to all Medical Supply customer inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner

· Using judgement and taking independent action when needed to meet client needs.

· Documenting and reporting departmental KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) accurately and consistently such as orders picked, lines picked etc.

· Double check orders to ensure that items being packed are accurate and document picking errors as orders are packed.

· Transfer orders to the correct status in the ERP system

· Cleaning all Medical Equipment that is returned from the field to ensure that it is disinfected and free from all contaminants

· Other duties as assigned including cross-training in the Customer Service Representative and Inventory roles to act as back-up coverage

Experience/Qualifications

· Good organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

· Ability to adjust work pace to meet fluctuating work demands

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent comprehension skills with the ability to learn new tasks and act as a backup to other members of the team.

· Basic math to work out product quantities when customer orders and product packaging may be written differently (such as number of items vs. number of boxes, or feet vs. meters) or to balance the cash drawer

· Experience in a retail, distribution or warehouse role an asset

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with an ERP system

Marchese Health Care Pharmacist Leslie Chappell has become the company’s first pharmacist to be certified by the Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy.

The Certified Geriatric Pharmacist designation identifies pharmacists with expertise in drug therapy and pharmaceutical care to the elderly. She joins an elite group of pharmacists from around the world who have distinguished themselves as leaders in geriatric care.

Leslie’s certification will add a greater level of expertise and service delivery for both MediLink Community Health Services and Marchese Health Care.
