Pharmacy: Is it for me?

  • What kind of person does it take to practise pharmaceutical care?
  • The pharmacist must be willing and able to establish a relationship with patients based on mutual respect and trust.
  • The pharmacist must be able to cooperate effectively as a member of a health care team for the direct benefit of the patient.
  • The pharmacist must be capable of life-long learning to keep pace with the rapid change of knowledge.
  • The pharmacist must be an inquisitive and discriminating problem-solver to identify and solve drug-related problems.
  • The pharmacist must be an instrument of change. The health of the profession depends on it!
